Windows Mobile 6

Windows Mobile 6 is described by Microsoft as enabling you to, “do more than ever before when you’re on the go”. If you have this OS on your mobile phone or PDA, put that claim to the test by using SMap.

If you have Windows Mobile 6 (Professional, Classic or Standard editions) you can run SMap on your GPS phone or PDA.

Install SMap by PC/Mac

1. Connect your mobile or PDA to your PC/Mac by the USB port

2. Go to www.sanoodi.com and create an account if you do not have one

3. Download SMap to your desktop by selecting ‘download application’ on this page

4. Install SMap from your desktop to your phone or PDA by going to Add Programmes in Active Sync

5. Locate the Sanoodi SMap file and select it

6. Confirm you want to install when prompted

To run SMap on Windows Mobile 5 (all editions), you may also need to install the .NET Compact Framework runtime and the SQL Server Compact Edition runtime:

2 SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition:

Note that both these downloads install onto a desktop PC, and you need to have the target device connected by USB or Bluetooth to that PC using ActiveSync (Windows 2000/XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (Vista) in order to install SMap onto the device.
