The Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Yacht Race where teams of 5 sail from Barmouth to Caernarfon where two runners complete a 23 mile round trip to the top of Snowdon and back. The team then sails to Whitehaven and the intrepid pair of runners cycle/run to the top of Scafel Pike and back a total of 53 miles. The sail from Whitehaven to Fort William takes approx 2 days the the runners complete the race with a 'short' run of 17 miles to the top of the Ben and back to the finsh line at Corpach.
